Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has reiterated his administration’s dedication to promoting inclusive sports for persons living with disabilities across the state.
This assurance was conveyed by the Executive Chairman of the Kwara State Sports Commission, Coach Bolakale Adisa Magaji, during a courtesy visit from members of the Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (KNAPD), Kwara State Chapter, at the Commission’s office.
Coach Magaji emphasized that people with disabilities are actively involved in local, national, and international sports competitions, ensuring they feel valued and included. He highlighted that several persons with disabilities serve as both coaches and athletes within the Sports Commission under Governor AbdulRazaq’s leadership.
Acknowledging their remarkable talents and professionalism, Coach Magaji pledged to support their requests, enabling them to achieve their full potential in sports.
Earlier in the visit, Mallam Adebayo Gbadamasi, Chairman of KNAPD, Kwara State Chapter, appealed for the Commission’s assistance to organize an impactful International Day of Disability celebration. He also praised Coach Magaji for his outstanding leadership and congratulated him on his recent reappointment.
