NACCIMA and WTO Build Trade Bridges in Abuja

Building bridges to prosperity remains a top priority for business leaders. On August 14, 2025, in Abuja, NACCIMA President Engr. Dr. Jani Ibrahim met with WTO Director-General Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and the Chairman of WCCIMA to discuss strategies for enhancing trade and economic growth.

Their discussions centered on strengthening partnerships, removing trade barriers, and creating an enabling environment for business growth both locally and internationally. Both parties expressed a strong commitment to unlocking new investment opportunities and expanding market access.

They also addressed pressing global trade challenges, including supply chain disruptions and evolving regulatory frameworks, highlighting the need for collaboration to ensure African businesses remain competitive and resilient.
