The Executive Secretary and CEO of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA), Engr. Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo, has called for unified action to address the escalating insecurity in Kwara South Senatorial District.
Engr. Adebayo made this appeal during a high-level security meeting held at the office of Major General A.A. Adekeye, Chief of Army Personnel Management. The session convened traditional rulers, government officials, and community leaders to strategize on restoring peace in Isin Local Government Area.
Among the dignitaries were HRM Oba (Dr.) Solomon Olugbenga Oloyede, Olusin of Isanlu-Isin, HRH Oba Pharm. Julius Ademola Ajibola, Olusin of Ijara-Isin, alongside other influential stakeholders including Hon. Raheem Tunji Olawuyi, Federal House of Representatives member for Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-Ero, and Hon. Benjamin Jolayemi, Executive Chairman of Isin Local Government.
The meeting underscored a collaborative, multi-stakeholder approach to security that prioritizes the safety and well-being of residents. Discussions focused on deploying targeted measures to enhance security and strengthen community confidence in law enforcement efforts within the troubled region.
