Engr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, Board Member representing the North Central Zone on the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), has commended Kwara State University (KWASU) for its exemplary performance in managing TETFund-sponsored projects. The commendation was made during Engr. Adeyemi’s official visit to the KWASU campus in Malete on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
Highlighting the Board’s oversight role, Engr. Adeyemi emphasized the importance of ensuring that allocated funds are effectively utilized. He described KWASU as one of the top-performing universities in project execution and accountability within the TETFund framework.
During the visit, Engr. Adeyemi was warmly received by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Moshood Mahmood Jimba, who represented Vice-Chancellor Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh. Professor Jimba expressed gratitude to TETFund for its continuous support, which has been instrumental in driving the university’s infrastructural development. He also reiterated KWASU’s commitment to maintaining transparency and achieving excellence in all its endeavors.
Following the formal discussions, the TETFund delegation was taken on a comprehensive tour of several completed and ongoing projects across the campus, showcasing the tangible impact of TETFund investments on KWASU’s growth and development.
This visit reaffirmed the strong partnership between TETFund and KWASU, underscoring their shared commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s tertiary education infrastructure through diligent project management and accountability.
